The Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) Medical Affairs team is dedicated to supporting all administrative and governance issues related to professional staff at the hospital.

Under the leadership of Dr. Lynn Mikula, Vice President, Chief of Staff, Chief Medical Executive and Chief Medical Information Officer, we support department chiefs with:

  • Human resource planning

  • Recruitment

  • Credentialing

  • Privileging

  • Appointments and reappointments

  • Orientation

  • Onboarding of new professional staff members.

We also ensure that PRHC’s professional staff bylaws continue to support good governance practices and that there is a robust set of up-to-date policies and procedures in place to support the day-to-day work of the professional staff.
