Thank you for your interest in applying as a volunteer with PRHC. Before completing the application, please watch this video to learn more.
Follow these three steps to complete your application:
Step 2: Provide proof of immunization
- Provide a record of immunization for two doses of MMR vaccine and two doses of Varicella vaccine. This information can be found on your yellow personal immunization card, or requested from your doctor’s office.
- Immunization record
Please note: we are currently at capacity for high school volunteers. To add your name to our waitlist, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Short-listed applicants will be invited to an onsite interview by volunteer services.
Volunteer Services will arrange for a two-step Mantoux Skin Test for Tuberculosis (TB) for successful candidates. This is done by our Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness department. This test can be done through your physician’s office if it is more convenient.
Volunteers over 18 years of age will need to provide a current police check (within the last six months) with the Vulnerable Sector Check. Volunteers will receive a letter from Volunteer Services at the interview to take to the police station to receive a reduced rate for the police check.
