WHAT WE OFFER

The cancer symptom management clinic at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is an outreach program of the PRHC Palliative Care Program that seeks to improve the quality of life for those living with a diagnosis of cancer and their families.

Immediate priority is given to the assessment and management of distressing physical symptoms such as pain, nausea and vomiting or treatment side effects. The clinic also aims to support the emotional, spiritual and social quality of life issues.

The clinic is a consultative service. Your family doctor will continue to provide ongoing care.
