Post-Natal Mood Disorder Counselling

Since you became pregnant or since the birth of your baby, have you had any of these feelings?

  • You feel unhappy most of the time and unable to cope.
  • You don't care about your baby.
  • You feel resentful or angry towards your baby or family members.
  • You think you are a bad mother.
  • You often feel anxious or panicky.
  • You worry about your baby all the time.

If so, you may have an illness called postnatal mood disorder.

Women who are experiencing changes in their moods since the birth of a baby can contact the Women's Health Care Centre. We offer free, confidential counseling, information and resources.

For more information about these services, call the Women's Health Care Centre at 743-4132 or 1-800-419-3111.
