At Peterborough Regional Health Centre, our Cancer Care team provides a inter-professional approach to the assessment, treatment, follow up and support of cancer patients and their families. As part of the Central East Regional Cancer Program, our program works in partnership with the Durham Regional Cancer Program (based in Oshawa) to provide cancer services closer to home.
Construction on PRHC's new radiation suite for cancer treatment is currently underway, with the first patients expected to be treated in summer 2013.
