Services - Postnatal Mood Disorder Counseling

Since you became pregnant or since the birth of your baby, have you had any of these feelings?

  • You feel unhappy most of the time and unable to cope.
  • You don't care about your baby.
  • You feel resentful or angry towards your baby or family members.
  • You think you are a bad mother.
  • You often feel anxious or panicky.
  • You worry about your baby all the time.

If so, you may have an illness called a postnatal mood disorder.

Women who are experiencing changes in their moods since the birth of a baby can contact the Women's Health Care Centre. We offer free, confidential counseling, information and resources.
