Ultrasound has been an integral part of the Diagnostic Imaging department for many years, and it continues to grow. From its inception in 1980, we have expanded from one sonographer and one machine to a staff of eight with four Colour Flow Doppler machines and a portable unit that can travel throughout the hospital.
Imaging exams can be done on the following parts of the body:
- Abdominal
- Renal
- Obstetrical
- Pelvic/Trans vaginal
- Pediatric
- Breast
- Scrotal
- Prostate (with biopsies)
- Thyroid (with biopsies)
- Venous Doppler assessments of veins in extremities
Hours
- Monday - Friday - 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday - Sunday - 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
