Surgical Constant Care inpatient area within Peterborough Regional Health Centre that specializes in the care of patients admitted after surgery who require closer observation and an increased level of nursing care for their recovery.
Our team consists of physicians, registered nurses, physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, discharge planner, Peterborough Community Access Centre case manager, and clerical staff. This team works together to provide our patients with expert care. Patients who require admission to Surgical Constant Care after their surgery, recover here until their physician says they are ready to transfer to another area and continue their recovery.
