The Department of Pharmacy Services is responsible for obtaining, storing, preparing, and distributing all medications for patients in the hospital and outpatient clinics.
Drug distribution is a complex process, supported at PRHC by Pharmacy Assistants working to their full scope of practice and some of the most extensive automation in Canada. The pharmacists provide clinical services that ensure the appropriate selection, use, and administration of medications, as well as the evaluation of medication effectiveness in all patients.

- Central Intravenous Additive Program
- Administration of Clinical Trials
