There may be times when you or members of your family would like to pay a compliment, need help in understanding something, or would like to voice a concern.

To do so, first speak to the departmental staff or manager. If you require further assistance, contact the Patient Relations department.

Staff of the Patient Relations department:

• Are available to PRHC patients and families and community members who have questions, compliments or concerns. Pre-arranged appointments are preferred
• Can explain Health Centre policies and procedures
• Investigate issues objectively
• May recommend a meeting with you, your family members and appropriate care team members
• Can answer questions about services available at Peterborough Regional Health Centre
• Follow up on concerns so that management, physicians and staff are aware of issues and will make improvements if and where appropriate
• Can arrange for a staff member to review information on your chart with you
