The staff of the Laboratory Medicine Department provides timely and accurate laboratory testing for PRHC and other hospitals in the region. Laboratory staff includes physicians, technologists, technicians, and clerical staff, who perform blood, tissue and body fluid analysis and electrocardiograms. Information from laboratory testing is used by treating physicians for screening, diagnosis and monitoring of disease.
