PRHC's Breast Assessment Centre, one of the first in Ontario, services women who have been referred with breast lumps, abnormal mammograms and nipple discharge.
The Centre's philosophy is to offer a thorough work-up in as short a time as possible and give as accurate a diagnosis as possible, to relieve the patient's anxiety.
Diagnostic Imaging services at the Centre include mammography and ultrasound.
The Centre officially opened in September 2000, and is located in PRHC's Diagnostic Imaging department.
