Peterborough, Ontario Catchment Population: > 300,000 Full range of Diagnostic Services including three CT suites in the region with CT Angiography, Cerebral Angiography, Doppler services Nuclear Medicine, MRI unit, and Neurologist services required for EEG, EMG, and sleep medicine laboratories. The region is a District Stroke centre with Delivery of TPA through TeleStroke Network in combination with local Neurologists and an Internist. Department • 2 Full time Neurologists and 1 Part Time Neurologist • Strong internal Medicine, Surgical and Diagnostic Imaging Departments and Rehab unit • 24 hour ER coverage by Full time ER MD's and Hospitalist Service • The Practice 1 in 7 on-call for TPA and Inpatient Consultations Tertiary Referral Centres • Toronto Hospitals and Kingston Hospitals Qualifications • FRCPC (Neurology) and eligibility for Ontario License This is an excellent opportunity to build a busy, highly remunerative practice in close proximity to Toronto and Kingston.
